The American Club of Hamburg

The American Club of Hamburg is the hub for the German-American Community in the greater Hamburg area and fostering the transatlantic friendship.

We offer a wide array of events from social events like our famous Thanksgiving Dinner or 4th of July BBQ to joint theater evenings and informal gatherings like „Burger Nights“ and „After Work Socials“, company visits such as visiting the Airbus plant, but also dinner speeches about various topics, always with the aim to provide food for thought and respectful discussion and exchange.

Our members enjoy the benefits of a member card, which gives them perks and discounts at various businesses in Hamburg, too, and also savings online.

We welcome members from any nationality, as long as they have ties to the US, be it Americans living in Hamburg or other Nationals who i.e. spent time in the US, have family there or any other connection to the US, and of course those with dual citizenship. Our members are a reflection of the society and what unites us is the transatlantic friendship.
