Those who have been attending our events will see a familiar face: Anne-Frauke Schulz, who is a member of the American Club for many years, has joined the Board of Directors recently, filling a vacancy. Frauke will focus on communication with the members and wider audience and if you reach out through one of the various channels, there is a good chance you will be in touch with her.
Fraukes hometown is Apensen, close to Buxtehude and Jork (Altes Land). She is the mother of a nine year old daughter – also a familiar face at our more family oriented Club events, like the upcoming Thanksgiving Dinner in November.
She studied Agricultural Science at CAU Kiel, TUM Munich and UM Melbourne (Australia) and graduated as MSc (Dipl. Ing.) and got her MBA in General Management at Ashridge Executive Education (UK), Hult International Business School (U.S.). Currently Frauke works for Bartec Benke as Head of Marketing/Business Development in Reinbek. Bartec is a leading company worldwide for Explosion proof measurement systems in industries such as oil & gas and dairy.
Previously Frauke specialized in market entry in American consumer goods companies, mainly on strategic marketing and market development, working for global leaders like Guthy Renker, Gillette, Dentsply and Hershey’s in industries such as Medical Devices, Biotech and FMCG.
Due to her different job assignments, she spent about seven years in Australia, UK and the U.S.
Frauke likes to spend her free time as a family in the outdoors, doing sports, and traveling. While travelling, she enjoys to explore the cultural differences.
