Introducing Donald Copson, Director of the American Club

Three new Directors were elected by our AGM in February – and today we would like to introduce the first one of the three new Team Members: Donald Copson.

Born in Miami Beach, Florida, to a career US Navy father and Italian mother, Donald was raised as a typical “military brat”, moving often in his life. He is bilingual (English and Italian) and has a fair knowledge of German & Spanish. Donald has a Master’s degree from Georgia Southern University in Adult & Vocational Education and almost thirty years of HR experience as a civil servant with the United States Army. He retired from the position of Civilian Personnel Director, Headquarters, United States Army, Europe, Heidelberg, Germany.  His personal interests include keeping abreast of international world affairs, hiking, fitness, languages, cultures, international cuisine, and traveling.

Donald will, as his background suggests, work mostly on the operational side of the Club to make sure its a smooth ride for the Club and our Members!

Stay tuned for the intro of our other two new Directors, Björn Ognibeni and Michael Böcken!
