Consul General Jason Chue, also the Honorary President of the American Club of Hamburg, startet on his new post at the Alster in late summer this year. While he joined a number of Club events, we now hosted a formal dinner with Jason to introduce him to our members. The occasion was a bit sad though, because it also marked the last time we were able to enjoy the hospitality of the Park Hyatt Hotel in Hamburg and it´s General Director Tashi Takang – who has been hosting the American Club for over fifteen years.
Club Vice President Petra Vorsteher and Secretary Nils Winkler handed Tashi a present to thank him for these many years of support for the Club. Also CG Jason Chue received a welcome gift – a collection of typical “Hamburg” items and specialties including a can of Lapskaus.
The Apples Restaurant was fully booked with 66 participants for this final evening at the Park Hyatt Hotel.
