The year 2022 marks the end to one of the dearest traditions we have as the American Club and leaves a gap which will be hard to fill: As the Park Hyatt Hotel will close its doors by the end of year, we held our last Thanksgiving Dinner there – after being at the Park Hyatt for this exceptional family feast for over fifteen years. Some 90 Members and Guests enjoyed the exceptional hospitality of General Director Tashi Takang and his fantastic crew in the sold out Apples restaurant.
This year, we heard thoughtful and also entertaining words from Hamburgs Rabbi Schlomo Bistritzky about the meaning of Thanksgiving and the importance of being thankful in life in general.
