On January 19th, 2023, we held our traditional American Club New Years Reception on board the historic sailing ship Rickmer Rickmers, moored at Landungsbrücken. Some 100 Members and Guests enjoyed the social interaction, a fine buffet and most importantly inspiring words by Coach Charles “Yogi” Jones of the Hamburg Sea Devils. Further, the Texas Stars, a Squaredance-Club from Hamburg, danced for us and added a little bit of “Texas spice” to the event. We were also happy to welcome the Deputy Consul General Osee Lieberman.
